The 2021 NBA Finals between the Milwaukee Bucks and Phoenix Suns wasn’t the matchup that most expected heading into the playoffs, but the best-of-seven set beginning on July 6 should be a hotly-contested series.
The Bucks won their first and only NBA title in 1971 and are making their first appearance in the Finals since 1974. Meanwhile, Phoenix is in the NBA’s championship series for the first time since 1993.
Due to the later start to the 2020-21 NBA season the Finals could deep into July, with Game 7 of the Bucks-Suns showdown scheduled for July 22 and with the exception of Game 3, all games tip off at 9 p.m. ET.
